Wooden Long Grain Cutting Boards

Our cutting boards are handmade in our small workshop located in Sweden. The wood comes from trees felled in the workshop's surroundings.

A long grain cutting board gets a very beautiful surface pattern originating from the wood from which they are made.

The wooden fibers in a long grain chopping board are parallel to the surface of the cutting board.

Our long grain chopping boards are available in wood of cherry, birch, elm and maple.

The cutting board surface is grinded with fine-grit sandpaper until it becomes very smooth. Then the cutting board is saturated with mineral oil and finally polished with a special blend of mineral oil, beeswax and carnauba wax.

The cutting boards are also perfect as serving boards for cheese or charcuteries.

The glue, the mineral oil and the waxes used for production of our cutting boards are declared as safe for contact with food by our suppliers.
