Collection: Wooden End Grain Cutting Boards

These cutting boards are handmade in our small workshop located in Sweden. The wood comes from trees felled in the workshop's surroundings.

The very beautiful surface pattern of an end grain cutting board originates from the growth rings present in the wood from which the cutting board is made.

The wooden fibers in an end grain chopping board are perpendicular to the surface of the cutting board. This means that your kitchen knives retain their sharpness for a longer period of time.

The surface is grinded with fine-grit sandpaper until it becomes very smooth. Then the cutting board is saturated with mineral oil and finally polished with a special blend of mineral oil, beeswax and carnauba wax.

The cutting boards are  also perfect as serving boards for cheese or charcuteries.

The glue, the mineral oil and the waxes used for production of our cutting boards are declared as safe for contact with food by our suppliers.
