About WoodMovement

I am Lars Lindgren, a retired engineer, now running a small workshop called WoodMovement located in Sweden. My focus is to create unique handmade products out of wood, often made of locally harvested and air-dried wood, e.g. cherry, ash, maple, birch and pine.

My current products are cutting boards and coasters. My notebook full of ideas and some of them will end up as new products for my shop in the future.

As an engineer, I am interested in problems with a scientific, mathematical or logical twist. 

My set of nine coasters, that can be arranged as a magic square, is the first product related to my mathematical interest. This product is excellent for getting your friends busy in solving the problem!

In my blog, I will write short articles about my products. The first article will be about the 3x3 magic square.
