Collection: Wooden Cutting Boards

Our cutting boards are handmade in our small workshop located in Sweden. The wood comes from trees felled in the workshop's surroundings.

The cutting boards get very beautiful surface pattern originating from the wood from which they are made.

We have two types of cutting boards, long grain and end grain:

• The wooden fibers in a long grain cutting board are parallel to the surface.
• The wooden fibers in an end grain cutting board are perpendicular to the surface of the cutting board. This means that your kitchen knives retain their sharpness for a longer period of time.

Our boards are also perfect for serving cheese, charcuteries, bread, cookies, etc.

The cutting board surface is grinded with fine-grit sandpaper until it becomes very smooth. Then the cutting board is saturated with mineral oil and finally polished with a special blend of mineral oil, beeswax and carnauba wax.

The glue, the mineral oil and the waxes used for production of our cutting boards are declared as safe for contact with food by our suppliers.
